| Egypt is home to one of the world's greatest civilizations. From 3200 B.C to 341 B.C, Egypt was ruled by a series of dynasties that created some of the greatest wonders of the world. Egyptian engineers, builders, planners, artisans and labor built some of the finest and most magnificent structures that the world had ever seen. Egypt made immense progress in medicine, astronomy and other scientific fields. The largest and most well stocked library of the ancient world was at Alexandria in north-central Egypt.
